About me

Hi, I’m Aubrey. I am currently a student at Montana State University, majoring in Microbiology with a minor in Hispanic Studies. I grew up in Colorado Springs, where I developed a strong foundation in tutoring through both supporting my siblings academically and working for two and a half years as an English and mathematics tutor at a Kumon center.

In this role, I learned how to empower students to become independent learners by guiding them toward solutions rather than simply providing answers. I strongly believe in the value of practice and clear examples—whether solving math problems or identifying parts of speech, students learn best by seeing skills applied in real time. I enjoy walking students through each step of the process and supporting them as they build confidence and reach moments of understanding.
